Entering The Land

At a pivotal point in the history of the nation of Israel God comes to their new leader, Joshua, and says, “Be strong and courageous.” It is a command and a promise and speaks of the assurance of His presence among His people as they inherit the land that He promised to Abraham hundreds of years before. In what way does their entering the land shadow the design of God found in Christ Jesus? It is a rich and enduring picture that results in a dramatic choice.
