The whole book of Hebrews talks about the shift that has happened in order for Jesus to fulfill His role as the high priest. Gui Kerr teaches on how the shadows from the Old Testament are made clear and plain in the life and ministry of Jesus. Hebrews 7 shows how the shift in the priesthood changes the way God approaches us and the way we can now approach Him. We have a high priest that is fitting to us!
God sets us up for success – His plan (and not a hidden plan at all) is to put us on display so that what may appear to be weak and frail shows itself to be infused with the power of Christ’s resurrected life and to be victorious in His name.
God prepares Joshua for the task ahead: conquest of the Promised Land. Joshua inspires us as he submits to the softening of the heart – circumcision and Passover (identity and preservation/protection), to be able to stand on our own feet again (provision from the Land).
As we enter the New Year, our hearts are stirred with the reality of the awesome things the Lord has in store for us. Gui Kerr shares some scriptures about how we take possession of our inheritance as we exercise forgiveness.
From head knowledge to heart knowledge to spiritual “download” – that has been the journey many have taken on most recent years and that is where I see we are called to go. It is a journey to simplicity, in humility, faith, Holy Spirit and authority.
There is no safer place than being hidden in God Himself. In that place, we find protection and safety; provision and nourishment; authority and power; influence and impact. Listen in as Gui Kerr proclaims the safety and power of the Most High God.
Trust is the foundation of life with God, life in the family, life at church, business and all healthy social interaction. This message will deal with trust as the foundation of family relationships.
Two things separate us from the best of God in our lives and ministries. Some are bad and have the potential to destroy and derail us altogether from our journey in Him. Others are good and, because of that, much more subtle to detect when they stand in the way of the best things the Lord has in store for us. Pain and hurt usually allow us to discern the best from the worst in our lives. Gui Kerr invites you to wake up from your slumber and choose excellence.
The life of Joseph is the perfect model for the times we are living in. His anointing has diverse facets, but it boils down to understanding His voice and boldly speaking it into being. It is an anointing of discernment and stewardship. It is the need of the hour!
The ministry of Jesus was of restoring things to their original intent, starting with our very lives. As that unfolds we are given the ability to also become restorers of other people’s lives and even of the cities and nations. To move from being ministered by Jesus to be ministers for Jesus we need the full power and enablement of the Holy Spirit.
