Our goal in the
Furnace is to provide an atmosphere where
we can engage our hearts with Jesus,
both individually and corporately. Here
are practical ways to help make this
happen.
It is your option to take off your shoes
or keep them on while in the main auditorium.
Please, no laptops during intercession
sets.
Please, no sleeping in the main auditorium.
Please, keep all conversations to 10
seconds or go outside the main auditorium.
Please, dance in designated area only,
unless corporate dance breaks out.
Please, do not touch the sound board,
laptop, sound equipment or audio video
unless you have permission.
We encourage that there is always at
least a 2-1 ratio of the opposite sex
in a Furnace Set at all times, unless
married.
Please, try to be respectful of others
with your volume during personal prayer
time.
Please, keep a moderate level of volume
when singing, praying, or warring in
the Spirit unless it is encouraged corporately
by the Prayer leader.
If travail comes upon you as an individual
during a corporate set please, go into
the green Kids room, unless travail is
breaking out corporately.
If you receive a prophetic word, that
you believe is to be shared corporately,
then submit it to the Prayer leader.
Intercession Set - This format is designed
for corporate intercession primarily
using the Apostolic Prayers. The goal
is for unity in our intercession.
Participate in singing the worship songs
and follow along with the Prayers
Pray in the Spirit or for someone you
know or some group you know
Posture yourself in a position that helps
you focus (standing, pacing, etc…)
Pray on the microphone (sit in the front
row and the Prayer leader will let you
know when it is your turn)
Worship with the
Word Set - this format
is designed to be a singing Bible study
and is very beneficial to helping your
heart engage with the Lord through scripture.
Participate in singing the corporate
worship and spontaneous songs
Follow along in the Bible with the Prayer
leader.
Journal any revelation you may receive
from the verses.
Web Cast Set Suggestions – When you
come to the Furnace to be a part of a
web cast time of worship and intersession
it is good to have a plan of how you
will spend your time with the Lord. Here
are some practical suggestions to help.
Develop a Bible study action plan and
follow it.
Study the Apostolic Prayers or a have
a prayer meditation plan.
Soak in His presence, read books, study,
or journal.
